A consultation is an hourly service of pure on-site design time with garden designer Kelly Tesiero. Kelly will come to your home and provide a general overview of how to turn your ordinary yard into a tasteful garden room. She will start by sketching directly on an enlarged site survey of your property. With sketches and written notes customized to your lifestyle, Kelly brings your dream garden into focus. She adds flow to bed lines, suggests easy care color, and outlines shapes for patios, decks and garden paths that transform your yard into a beautiful garden.

Kelly provides insider tips to help you install the landscape yourself or you can work with the landscape contractor of your choice.

Kelly Tesiero has professional experience in landscape architectural firms from New York to Florida. Her garden roots are in Orange Park, Florida where she grew up working in the family plant nursery. Kelly holds a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Florida. She has studied architectural and garden design in Europe with an emphasis on Italian gardens. She speaks often to groups about perennials, low maintenance gardens and the latest trends in design. Kelly was the Garden Editor for Waters Edge Magazine for three years. Her colorful cottage garden has been featured on local television as well as home & garden tours. Kelly was chosen as ‘A Face of Change in the New Millennium’ by the Florida Times Union Newspaper. Ms. Tesiero is featured in the PBS video Wild About Herbs at Home which is distributed through their national catalog. Kelly was a past-featured lecturer at the prestigious Wolfson Antiques and Garden Show and at two Symphony Show houses.

Kelly started her garden design company in 1993. She has over twenty-three years of experience in the plant industry. The on-site custom consultation service is offered at $150 per hour in the Jacksonville area (with a two-hour minimum).
